This Privacy Policy explains how Demicraft Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), which operates HardHat HQ at hardhathq.co (the "Site"), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Site, subscribe to our newsletter, or interact with our tools and content.

Information you give us directly. When you subscribe to our newsletter (HardHat Nation), you provide your email address. If you use interactive tools on the Site, such as a career quiz, you may submit your responses, and in the future we may offer the option to receive your results or related resources by email, which would involve providing your email address. If you contact us directly, we receive whatever information is in your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect certain technical information automatically when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, the time and date of your visit, and the site you came from. We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies. Newsletter. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing team@hardhathq.co. We will stop sending marketing emails, though we may still send service-related messages where applicable.
Cookies and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Access and deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing team@hardhathq.co. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.
California residents. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as keeping your email on file while you are subscribed to the newsletter, or as required by law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at team@hardhathq.co and we will delete it.

HardHat HQ is operated from the United States and is intended primarily for users in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
